Social Sport, through its insurance policy is able to provide player accident coverage to players of registered teams. The coverage includes a level of reimbursement of Non-Medicare expenses and some other items.
It is important to note that the cover available is not ‘comprehensive’ and we encourage all players to take out their own Private Health, Life & Income Protection insurance in accordance with their own needs and circumstances. Full details of the coverage provided can be found by clicking HERE
All players are eligible for player insurance coverage, however, a player must be registered online as a team member to qualify. The team captain is responsible for submitting a full player list for the season, however, additional players can be added at any time. Team captains are provided with all the information for registering players.
All players, by participating in our competitions are agreeing that they are playing at their own risk.
Registered players are entitled to make a claim for injuries sustained during our competitions that fall within the conditions of the insurance coverage. A player must have been registered online at the time of the injury and have reported it to the Venue Manager. To make a claim, click HERE
